How We Tested

Both products were evaluated with the same 10 benchmark images and the same scoring framework. The benchmark used 17 metadata criteria and 26 product and workflow criteria, combined into a 100-point score.

For ImStocker Vision, the benchmark used its standard Base model. More expensive Extra and Thinking models were not substituted into the benchmark results. Readers can inspect every score in the full tool keywording benchmark and the public benchmark workbook.

Noamax AI vs ImStocker Vision at a Glance

The main difference is how much of the workflow is contained in one product.

Noamax handles the main stock metadata workflow in the browser. ImStocker Vision can also be used in the browser, but features such as metadata writeback, and stock submission rely on IMS Studio.

Benchmark Results

Noamax finished 13.62 points ahead overall, with the largest advantages coming from metadata quality, keyword ordering, and day-to-day workflow.

Hallucination Control / 5*4.262.84

πŸ“Œ Top-10 Quality and Hallucination Control are diagnostic scores already included in the main metadata scoring.

Noamax led every main metadata category. The largest differences were in accuracy, keyword ordering, and hallucination control.

Speed & Reliability / 55.04.6

Pricing & Value / 54.64.9
Workflow & Features / 3531.9027.20

ImStocker won the pricing category and was the lowest-cost option in our benchmark.

πŸ“Œ However, that lower cost came with a significant trade-off in metadata quality. Noamax scored higher in all four other workflow categories and finished well ahead on metadata accuracy, coverage, keyword ordering, and overall output quality.

Metadata Quality

The largest difference between the two products was metadata consistency.

Noamax scored higher on all 10 benchmark images and finished with a 59.98 / 65 metadata score compared with 51.06 / 65 for ImStocker Vision. Its results were also more consistent across different image types. It was more consistent at keeping accurate and useful concepts near the top while limiting speculative terms.

IMG-04: People in an Urban Pedestrian Area

This was the hardest image in the entire benchmark because several people were visible, but their relationships, nationality, purpose, and exact location were unknown.

Noamax stayed close to observable concepts such as: people, alleyway, street, urban, walking, gathering, pedestrian, outdoors, passage, lane

The important difference was restraint. It avoided building an unsupported story around the people.

ImStocker was less consistent on this type of lifestyle scene and received more deductions for speculative or weak supporting concepts. This contributed to its much lower Hallucination Control score: 2.84 / 5, compared with 4.26 / 5 for Noamax.

IMG-10: Abstract 3D Blocks

This was another important stress test because the image had no literal business or technology subject. Noamax's early keywords were: abstract, blocks, cubes, geometric, geometry, shapes, floating, concept, minimalism, rectangles

The output stayed grounded in the actual visual content before moving into broader concepts such as modern, futuristic, digital, design, 3D, render.

πŸ“Œ Abstract images were a more difficult area for ImStocker because there is greater temptation to introduce plausible-but-unproven meanings. The benchmark penalized terms that moved too far from what the image actually showed.

IMG-06: Santorini / Oia

Landmark recognition was one of the easier categories for most tools. Noamax correctly prioritized specific location concepts such as: Santorini, Oia, Greece, Greek island, architecture, white buildings

This image shows why recognition alone is not enough. Once the location is identified, the next question is whether those specific terms stay near the top or become diluted by generic terms such as travel, tourism, vacation, destination, leisure. Noamax remained more consistent at keeping the strongest specific concepts prominent.

IMG-03: Finance / Business Desk

The image contained several competing objects: a laptop, calculator, notebook, charts and a smartphone. This kind of image tests whether the system understands the overall business / finance context without losing the important visible objects.

Noamax handled the balance better across the benchmark, while ImStocker's results were more variable on multi-object scenes. That difference is reflected in the overall category scores:

Accuracy: Noamax 22.84 / 25 vs ImStocker 19.33 / 25

Ordering: Noamax 13.28 / 15 vs ImStocker 10.91 / 15

Top-10 Quality: Noamax 16.30 / 18 vs ImStocker 13.81 / 18

πŸ“Œ So the main issue was not simply that ImStocker generated bad metadata. It was less predictable across different subjects, especially when the image required stronger prioritization or hallucination control.

Workflow & Features

Noamax AI scored 31.90 / 35 for workflow and features compared with 27.20 / 35 for ImStocker Vision. Noamax keeps upload, AI processing, review, editing, history, and stock-specific exports together in one browser workflow.

ImStocker Vision has useful browser tools, but several advanced capabilities depend on moving between Vision and IMS Studio. That split affected the overall workflow score.

Pricing & Free Access

ImStocker Vision looks very cheap at its Base level, but its higher-quality Thinking model uses 5 recognitions per file. Noamax uses 1 credit per image with its default Advanced processing.

With Noamax’s automatic 20% discount, the effective monthly prices become about $7.99 for 500 images and $14.39 for 1,000 images. So once ImStocker’s 5-recognition Thinking model is compared instead of its cheapest Base model, the price gap becomes very small.

πŸ“Œ More importantly, the lower-cost ImStocker tiers come with a serious metadata-quality trade-off.

In our benchmark, Noamax produced substantially stronger and more consistent metadata. Saving a small amount is much less attractive if the generated metadata require noticeably more correction.

πŸ“Œ Pricing checked during the benchmark period (October 2026) and may change.
