The cropper accepts static JPG, PNG, and WebP images up to 15 MB. Animated images, design files, RAW files, and video are not supported.
Does Cropping Resize or Enlarge My Image?
No. The cropped file uses the selected source pixels at their original size. The cropper does not upscale the selected area or invent new image detail.
What Do the Aspect Ratios Change?
Landscape, Portrait, and Square lock the crop frame to a fixed shape. Freeform lets you resize the frame without a locked ratio. Changing the ratio does not stretch the image.
Does the Cropped File Keep Photo Metadata and Color Profiles?
Browser canvas export creates a new file and can remove embedded EXIF, IPTC, and XMP metadata. Color-profile handling may also differ by browser, so always keep your original file.
Does Cropping Guarantee Acceptance by Microstock Agencies?
No. Composition and dimensions are only part of submission review. Check each agency's current format, megapixel, metadata, legal, and image-quality requirements before submitting.
