Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Noamax Image Resizer Free?
Yes. You can resize and download images without an account, credit card, daily allowance, or Noamax credit.
Are My Images Uploaded to Noamax?
No. File inspection, previewing, resizing, encoding, and download preparation happen locally in your browser. The selected source and resized result are not sent to Noamax.
Which Image Formats Are Supported?
The resizer accepts static JPG and PNG images up to 15 MB. Other image types, animated images, design files, RAW files, and video are not supported.
Can This Tool Make a Small Image Larger?
Yes. Every preset remains available, and the tool clearly marks when it enlarges the selected crop. Enlargement uses standard image interpolation and may look softer because resizing cannot create genuine new detail.
What Happens When a Preset Has a Different Aspect Ratio?
The tool uses a crop-to-fill frame instead of stretching the image. The full original remains visible while you move the frame, drag its corners, use the grid, or fine-tune zoom and position controls.
Does the Resized File Keep Photo Metadata and Color Profiles?
No. Browser canvas export removes embedded EXIF, IPTC, and XMP metadata, and ICC color-profile handling can differ by browser. Keep your original and use a dedicated desktop workflow when those fields must be preserved.
Does Resizing Guarantee Acceptance by a Microstock Agencies?
No. Dimensions are only one part of submission review. Always check the agency's current format, megapixel, color, metadata, legal, and image-quality requirements before submitting.
What Are the 20 Free Noamax Credits For?
They are for the separate authenticated metadata and keywording workflow: AI titles, descriptions, ranked keywords, batch processing, review, history, and microstock-specific CSV exports. Resizing on this page never consumes credits.
